Not too far off the Northwest Freeway on Mason Road lies probably the best coffee spot in the entire town of Cypress. Sure, it’s a matter of opinion, but the numbers don’t lie when this cafe has the best approval rating on sites like Urbanspoon.

The cafe is called the Jitterbug Cafe and it is definitely a coffee shop that can stand against the coffee giants of the world like Starbucks and Caribou Coffee.

But what makes Jitterbug Cafe so special and one that Cypress locals love to frequent? Perhaps it’s their wide breadth of menu choices when compared to other restaurants of a similar nature. Maybe it’s the live entertainment, the open mic nights or the local art galleries they put on so the artists and musicians of Cypress have a place they can call home. Or it could just be because they simply have some really great-tasting coffee and a lot of varieties to choose from.

No matter what the reason, Jitterbug Cafe has definitely become a staple in the town of Cypress. I am sure several residents of Cypress Village visit this cafe from time to time, especially with it being so close to our community.
