The joust is worth the price of admission.

The festival is home to 55 acres that come to live as all of Europe comes to pay homage to the King and Queen.  Every weekend you’ll be able to see hundreds of costumed performers in over 200 performances as well as themed shoppes and restaurants.

Each weekend will feature a different theme – here’s the schedule for October.

  • Oct. 8th & 9th: Oktoberfest – Journey to Bavaria and the Black Forest and enjoy traditional German music and dancing.
  • Oct. 15th & 16th: 1001 Dreams – Magical fantasies will come to life as wizards, elves, and faeries enchant the streets of the festival.
  • Oct. 22nd & 23rd: Pirate Adventure – A swashbuckling weekend with pirates treasure and booty!
  • Oct. 29th & 30th: All Hallows Eve – Ghouls, goblins, and spooks will emerge to pay homage to the King and Queen.

If you have never been the Renaissance Festival, you should give it a try and see what you’ve been missing out on.  This is a great way to spend a weekend of fun with the whole family.
